Legal and disclaimers
Estimates are references, not bids
Grounded cost reference — not a bid. Bare = Craftsman material + labor, no overhead/profit; national rates with combined Avg area modifier.
Every internal estimate view in Craft Estimate Pro carries this disclaimer. An estimate becomes a bid only when a licensed contractor reviews it, applies their judgment and markup, and issues their own bid document under their own business identity and license.
Licensing and published figures
The estimating engine prices from licensed Craftsman 2026 costbook data. That licensed data is available only to authenticated users inside the application and is never published on these public pages or exposed to unauthenticated visitors or crawlers.
Figures published in the cost guides and the Tampa Bay Construction Cost Index are aggregated, derived statistics (percentile ranges over many underlying rows), carry their as-of date, and refresh quarterly. They are bare costs for component-level work items, not installed project totals, not quotes, and not bids.
Data handling in brief
Contractor job data is scoped to the account that created it with row-level security on every table. The service role key never ships to the browser, and the anonymous role has no policy-granted data access. Public pages record basic visit telemetry (path, referrer, campaign tags) to measure how people find these pages; no job data is involved.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional construction advice. Contractors are responsible for their own bids, licensing compliance, and contracts.
